About
Artist Statement
My creative process is centered on restructuring my environment. In photography, my projects showcase my examination of the world, crafting a surreal and curated landscape, recombining my surroundings to tell stories. I am most drawn to sentimental imagery, examining how emotion bows perception. In my design work, my products cross genres to combine unlikely components, making something lighthearted and unexpected. Photography is my emotion-driven body of work, but design is where art can become practical, used for more than simply influencing the senses. Making art and design together is important to me because I keep both the practical and fantastical close together.
